About The Realms of Asgard (TROA)
The Realms of Asgard (TROA) is a registered nonprofit organization founded in 2017 with a clear mission: to create a safe, inclusive space where people can connect, feel supported, and know they are not alone.
Built around community, gaming, and mental health advocacy, TROA serves individuals from all walks of life, particularly those navigating mental health challenges. Our work focuses on connection, peer support, education, and reducing stigma through meaningful engagement.
TROA maintains professional alignment and partnerships with nationally recognized mental health organizations, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and the American Association of Suicidology (AAS). These partnerships reinforce our commitment to ethical advocacy, responsible peer support, and suicide prevention education.
Executive Assistant
The Volunteer Executive Assistant (EA) provides high-level administrative, strategic, and operational support to senior leaders, acting as a critical, trusted partner. Key responsibilities include complex calendar management, gatekeeping communication, preparing reports, and handling confidential information with discretion. They often serve as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders, frequently managing projects and representing the executive.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Calendar & Meeting Management: Scheduling, prioritizing, and managing, complex calendars, including coordinating, preparing, and taking minutes for meetings.
- Communication & Liaison:
- Screening, managing, and acting as the primary point of contact for emails, phone calls, and, at times, responding on behalf of the executive
- Administrative Support: Preparing, and proofreading,, reports, presentations, and, documents,, and managing expenses.
- Operational Support: Assisting with, projects,, tracking,, deadlines, and, organizing, internal/external events.
- Confidentiality: Maintaining strict, confidentiality regarding sensitive, company, information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Organization: Strong, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of office software, (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace, Zoom) and, ability to, learn, new tools.
- Experience: Requires 2-5+ years of experience in a supporting role for senior management.
- Discretion: High, level of integrity and discretion, when, handling confidential information.
