About the Role
The Catering Customer Support is responsible for efficiently handling client inquiries, processing and supporting catering orders, resolving issues, and providing timely, professional communication to help drive client satisfaction and repeat business. Chi’Lantro’s Catering Customer Support aligns with our Core Focus by delivering exceptional customer service, helping build great relationships with clients, and ensuring high-quality catering experiences while working remotely from South America in alignment with Central Texas business hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Order and Account Support:
● Efficiently manage inbound emails, calls, chats, and online orders for catering inquiries and requests.
● Accurately process, confirm, and route catering orders while coordinating details with internal teams.
● Support large catering orders by assisting with service needs, delivery coordination, setup
requirements, and any modifications or changes.
● Ensure timely and accurate communication of order details, timelines, and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
Client Relationship Management:
● Serve as a primary point of contact for catering clients, providing quotes, answering inquiries, and addressing service needs.
● Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to foster satisfaction and repeat business.
● Gather customer feedback, monitor reviews across platforms, and respond professionally to both positive and negative feedback while upholding Chi’Lantro’s core values.
● Develop positive working relationships with restaurant-level teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Sales and Operational Support:
● Support the team in exceeding catering sales targets through excellent service and upselling opportunities where appropriate.
● Stay informed on menu offerings, seasonal items, and market trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations to clients.
● Maintain accurate and complete records of client interactions, orders, and feedback in our systems.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
● Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service in all communications and order support.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 1 year of customer support, administrative, or client service experience; restaurant, hospitality, or catering experience strongly preferred.
● Fluent English (strong verbal and written communication skills); ability to maintain a professional, friendly tone aligned with Southern Hospitality.
● Must be located in South America with reliable availability during Austin, TX Central Time business hours (strong time zone overlap required).
● Proficiency with customer support tools (email, ticketing systems, CRM, Google Workspace) and basic computer skills.
● Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
● High standards and a genuine passion for excellence in client service and great food.
● Reliable high-speed internet, quiet workspace, and personal computer/headset required.
