Role Purpose
Your mandate is to own strategic account growth and new business development within a named set of Hyperscaler and Tier 1 Tech accounts. You will focus on landing new programs and expanding existing lines of business, transforming initial pilots into multi-year, recurring data partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Pursuit: Build and execute an account-based prospecting plan to engage stakeholders across AI/ML and Applied Research teams.
- Complex Deal Execution: Drive RFP/RFQ pursuits and lead solutioning, pricing, and contracting for high-value programs.
- Land & Expand: Convert pilot programs into recurring revenue streams by introducing higher-value offerings like expert-verified annotation and alignment data.
- Negotiation: Manage MSAs and SOWs that meet stringent data privacy and IP requirements.
Professional Qualifications
- Relevant Experience: 2+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically focusing on selling data services or working within a similar commercial environment.
- Proven Deal Success: Demonstrated track record of closing or managing $1M+ data service programs and navigating complex contracting processes.
- Technical Fluency: Knowledge of the AI development lifecycle and the ability to engage credibly with technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary + aggressive, performance-based variable/commission plan.
- Commission Structure: 1% of existing business; 2% of new business (No cap)
