Responsibilities
The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic and operational partner to the COO, overseeing administrative systems, recruiting and onboarding processes, and infrastructure that supports clinical excellence.
This role translates vision into execution by building scalable workflows, managing vendors, strengthening team operations, and developing community resources that enhance care for families.
Administrative & Operational Management
- Oversee vendor relationships (HR systems, payroll, background checks, accounting, legal, etc.)
- Build and document operational workflows and SOPs
- Improve operational systems across the organization as needed
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for leadership
- Coordinate company events, meetings and retreats
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Lead recruitment strategy for clinical and administrative roles
- Manage hiring processes and interview coordination
- Oversee onboarding infrastructure and compliance tracking
- Maintain onboarding trackers and performance systems
Community Resource Development
- Build and maintain curated community resource directories for families
- Develop referral partnerships and care coordination tools
- Create tools and materials to support our families’ access to community resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- 5+ years in operations, healthcare administration, startup operations, or similar
- Experience building systems and managing cross-functional projects
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
