Responsibilities:
Assist with day to day ultrasound patient schedule, staff schedule, ordering supplies and other duties as directed by Director of Ultrasound. Makes decisions of moderate difficulty. Handles multiple priorities within appropriate task deadlines. Maintains utmost confidentiality of information. Performs duties in accordance with Hospital mission, values, and behavioral standards.
- Prepares team schedules, assuring coverage following established staffing patterns for each location.
- May assist with the time and attendance system.
- Collects incoming correspondence from the mail room on a daily basis.
- Distrubutes mail to appropriate persons.
- Processes/completes all routine forms, surveys as directed.
- Maintains accurate and well-organized office files.
- Recommends and establishes new systems as needed for efficient maintenance of the operations.
- Assists with rural clinic and outside facilities ultrasound images in PACS systems
- Assists with rescheduling patient exams
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: College degree or some college courses preferred.
Experience: A preferred minimum of five (5) years of experience in a clinical setting with responsibility for developing and maintaining team schedules and the day to day maintenance of payroll and time and attendance systems. Experience in the healthcare field/hospital setting required.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Computer software (Microsoft Office) and keyboard proficiency, ability to operate various types of office equipment such as copy, scanner, and fax machines, phone systems, etc. required. Must be able to bend, lift, and reach office supplies and files.
