The virtual Immigration Paralegal will support the firm in all aspects of immigration law. Their contributions to the firm will focus on complex issues and cases for our clients. The successful candidate must have some experience performing immigration paralegal work and be familiar with the case system Cerenade:
· Input information into immigration forms and compile filings for the attorney review.
· Draft and prepare letters for attorney review.
· Monitor pending cases, manage case deadlines and status issues.
· Organize and compile supporting documents for applications, motions, petitions, filings, preparation and submission of immigration applications petitions, briefs and court Motions.
· Prepare and maintain client files in an organized manner.
· Updating clients of progress, answering their questions or preparing paperwork.
· Request foreign documents and perform research.
· Prepare Notice of Filings.
Requirements:
. The candidate is expected to have knowledge in immigration law and must be bilingual in English and Spanish at a professional level in reading, writing and speaking.
. Candidate should feel confident multitasking and complete task on a timely matter.
. Candidate has to be able to communicate effectively with clients.
.Candidate will meet with clients, gather documents, and prepare packages for filing with USCIS,EOIR and BIA under attorneys' supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: S/.23,290.00 - S/.25,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
