Professional Experience
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or similar senior IT roles.
- Proven success managing production‑level IT infrastructure in fast‑paced business environments.
- Strong background supporting on‑premises and hybrid ecosystems, including servers, networking, Microsoft 365, virtualization, storage, backups, and security platforms.
- Experience serving as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Experience working in environments requiring high uptime, reliability, and rapid response.
- Skilled in documenting systems, procedures, architectures, and recovery processes.
Technical Skills
- Advanced hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and permissions management.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and/or Hyper‑V.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery, restore testing, and business continuity planning.
- Experience with endpoint management, patching, antivirus/EDR, and device lifecycle support.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills; Bash or Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Experience with storage technologies: RAID, SAN/NAS, and server hardware troubleshooting.
Core Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support core infrastructure systems across servers, virtualization, networking, storage, and Microsoft 365.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, access controls, and policy enforcement.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity to ensure stable operations.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of escalated infrastructure, server, and network issues.
- Maintain patching, backups, disaster recovery readiness, and restoration procedures.
- Support infrastructure security efforts: hardening, vulnerability remediation, MFA, and access controls.
- Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clear, accurate technical documentation, diagrams, standards, and SOPs.

- Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred (Not Required)
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, AWS, etc.) are a plus; proven experience is valued more.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or 24/7 operational environments.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools, audits, compliance, and infrastructure hardening.
