Role Description
This is a temporary remote role for a bookkepee at Shokuya. The bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records, monitor and advise on inventory, and manage accounts payable and receivable. This role will involve IT process improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), Shopify, Microsoft Excel, and other fulfilment platforms
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in e-commerce or food import/export industries is an advantage
- Proximity to New York City is a plus.
