About the Role
Bochner PLLC is seeking a Litigation Administrative Assistant to support attorneys within our Litigation Group. This role is ideal for an experienced legal administrative professional who is highly organized, detailoriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced law firm environment.
The Litigation Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring litigation matters run efficiently, deadlines are met, and attorneys receive reliable daytoday administrative support
Key Responsibilities
AdministrativeLitigation Support
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys across multiple matters
- Manage attorney calendars, including internal and external meetings, deadlines, and reminders
- Prepare attorney admission applications for new states and districts as needed
- Coordinate logistics for meetings and travel
- Maintain and organize electronic case files and internal documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for internal staff, clients, vendors, and court personnel
- Work closely with the Litigation Paralegal Manager to prepare and distribute reports
PracticeOffice Support
- Assist with billing support, time entry review, and administrative reporting
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and email communications
- Support attorneys with routine administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Perform additional nonbillable administrative duties as assigned
- If based in the New York office, prepare and send mailings and courtesy copies of filings as needed
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to a collaborative, solutionsoriented team environment
Qualifications
Required
- 2-3 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant, legal secretary, or similar role in a law firm
- Familiarity with litigation practices, court deadlines, and calendaring
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Professional judgment, discretion, and reliability
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Prior experience supporting litigation attorneys
Work EnvironmentPhysical Requirements
- Sedentary role requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use
- Regular typing and document handling
- Occasional standing and movement within the office or court settings
- Regular verbal communication with attorneys, staff, and clients
- Ability to use standard office equipment and computer systems
