Overview
House of Maevie is a boutique interior design studio focused on thoughtful, high-end residential projects. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Office Manager / Executive Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative side of the studio.
This is a remote, 1099 contractor role for approximately 10 hours per week. The position is ideal for someone experienced, organized, and comfortable communicating directly with clients in a professional setting.
Candidates based in the Raleigh, NC area are a plus for occasional in-person tasks such as photoshoots or meetings, but this is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing client emails and basic correspondence
- Scheduling discovery calls, consultations, and meetings
- Preparing invoices and tracking payments using our studio systems (DesignFiles experience is a plus, but training will be provided)
- Assisting with proposals and simple client documents
- Keeping calendars, files, and systems organized
- Light project and task coordination
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, or office manager role
- Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with client-facing communication
- Strong written communication skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and basic invoicing tools
- Interest in design or creative industries is a plus
