The Senior Financial Analyst will be the second full-time hire on the Finance team of a rapidly growing tech company. This individual will report to the CFO and will work closely with an outsourced accounting team. This individual should understand the SaaS business model, and the dynamics related to bookings, billings, revenue, and cash collections it creates. Additionally, this individual will be high agency and low ego, valuing both speed and precision, and moving with urgency.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the business and finance context layer between the CFO and accounting team
- Revenue forecasting for two major business segments
- Support monthly and quarterly Investor Reporting efforts
- Monthly FP&A, including spend variation analysis
- Dashboard creation to support business analytics (in collaboration with the Data team)
- Monthly Invoicing support
- Lead a significant portion of the budgeting & FP&A program
- Collaborate with the CFO to iterate on pricing strategy
- Build extensive contribution margin analyses for multiple software products
- Support vendor negotiations and management
- Unlock impactful strategic finance, including accurate forecasting by demonstrating a solid understanding of key accounting practices
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Stripe is a plus, but not required
- At least 5 years of experience and has worked in a finance-related role at a company already
