Title: Head of Finance
Location: Hybrid in Manhattan, NY or Troy, MI or Remote
Compensation: $130,000-$180,000

Position Overview
The Head of Finance will lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization, ensuring robust financial management and reporting to support the company's growth objectives. This role is critical in developing financial plans, managing budgets, and overseeing financial operations to drive strategic decision-making for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Manage budgeting processes and ensure proper allocation of resources.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Lead fundraising efforts and manage relationships with investors and financial institutions.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create financial roadmaps and strategic plans.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance, making adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience as a Head of Finance or Finance Manager.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Experience in fundraising and managing investor relations.
- Familiarity with financial services and regulations relevant to series A and series B funding rounds.
- Travel to Troy, Michigan office once a quarter.
