We are seeking skilled HVAC Technicians and/or Journeyman with experience in commercial installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on commercial buildings/Naval Ships. Basic Requirements
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including boilers.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues for commercial and marine customers.
- Perform routine maintenance and service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints related to HVAC design.
- Provide clear communication to customers about system performance and recommendations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national codes.
Preferred Candidates:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in HVAC service and installation.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Ability to work independently as part of a team.
- Valid HVAC certification and a clean background record. (Must be able to obtain and hold a basic security clearance).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction, appliance repair, plumbing, and field service.
- Knowledge of air conditioning principles and boiler operations.
- Experience in welding is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions
- EPA certification (preferred, but not required)
