Overview
Must have Excellent knowledge of braking system (training provided for new advances in braking) Mechanic a plus
The main objective is to strengthen the relationship between TMD distributors and their customers (garages) whilst promoting TMD brands. Technical sales ( USP ) , Troubleshooting, in addition to warranty reduction are the main principles to support. “Best Practice” philosophy when changing brake components is a major element, improving efficiency and reducing potential customer complaints at the garage level
Responsibilities
- Problem-solving/putting forward best working practice for fitting brake components on vehicles
· Work in conjunction with TMD distributors to convert garage owners/ Fleets /fitters to buy TMD products
· Advising on features and benefits of dealing with a Quality OE manufacturer and the associated Aftermarket brands, raising general awareness, incorporating Safety, Quality and Performance
· Make garage calls, alone or with Distributor Rep, to win business for the distributor on TMD products
· Train/coach distributor representatives and TMD staff to improve their knowledge of TMD products
· Present training days/evenings with both garage and distributor staff relating to braking systems, TMD Products and tool range
· Carryout training session at the training centers held by TMD customers
· Willingness and confidence to strip and rebuild brakes for customer complaints at garage
· Obtaining appointments and planning customer visits
· Support sales in growing the area
· Manage technical emails and inquiries
· Undertake market research and gather marketing intelligence while visiting customers
· AOB required by TMD in the scope of the job role
· Weekly Summary reports from visit
· Wiliness to travel in the USA / Canada
· Technical knowledge as a technician of vehicles with no less than 3 years motor vehicle experience covering PC & CV
· Knowledge and experience in the Automotive industry
· Good standard of education

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
