Title: Regional Sales Director
Location: West Coast Territory
Summary:
Manage and guide field sales team in the assigned geography. Monitor their activities on a daily basis and their pipeline. Interact with them and travel daily with them to help sales effort, train and mentor to grow capabilities of salesperson. Delegate activities on dealer/end user training while coordinating with field team and other internal departments. Manage business growth in each ASM/RSM along with the NSI and A&E team to meet quota monthly or job opportunity. Actively participate in revenue and market share growth of Hanwha Vision America security products in an assigned geography. Develop total product sales growth within the assigned geography. Own and manage relationships with all top revenue producing customers. Coordinate and communicate with other internal and external team members to ensure maximum growth, working closely and in relation with Executive Vice President of Sales & Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manager multiple regional and area sales territories to achieve company quota each year.
- Manage each salesperson and communicate daily to verify goal are achieved and strategy is in place
- Develop business plan for total area and each salesperson to focus on areas that are weak and must be improved upon. These items can include product knowledge, presentation skills, organization skills, sales closing and follow up
- Work on coordinating on going A&E and End User visits within all responsible territories
- Provide directions for FAE visits, coordinated training, troubleshoot, and follow up with all customers
- Provide marketing with information required for the region to properly meet quota and goals
- Work with Product team to input market data and product information
- Build and implement action plans to effectively and efficiently execute on company strategy.
- Develop key competencies as required to maximize success.
- Participate in clear communication with Region Sales Manager. Ensure connectivity with business imperative
- Develop strategic clarity and a clear understanding of assigned role, expectations, and performance.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets and competition.
- Build and maintain aggressive account growth plans of top customers in assigned geography and execute those plans.
- Execute on internal business deliverables within the appropriate timeframe.
- Provide strategic and market feedback to the business. Work directly with PM team to provide competitive data on products and market input on what Hanwha Vision’s requirements are in the present and future to build into #1 video supplier in NA. Filter all requests from the field sales group and present on a quarterly basis the key product suggestion to PM.
- Build and execute on plans to support customer and market training needs.
- Manage and execute on market strategic initiatives and programs.
- Support and execute on the account plans for National Accounts, Strategic Distributors, and all other HVA customers within the specified geography
Qualification:
- 5-10 years of Security Industry Sales Experience, College Degree Preferred
- Strong interpersonal written/verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
- Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to details
- Proactive and high energy
