Neat Hive Cleaning is a residential cleaning company based in Portland, Oregon. We’re growing quickly and looking for a full-time Virtual Assistant to help with customer service, sales follow-up, scheduling, and daily operations.
You’ll work directly with the owner and help keep the business running smoothly: answering customer questions, booking cleanings, following up with leads, coordinating cleaners, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a remote role, but you must be available during Pacific Time business hours. Weekend availability is required.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, text, email, and chat
- Follow up with new leads and help convert them into booked customers
- Book, reschedule, confirm, and update cleaning appointments
- Coordinate schedules between customers and cleaning teams
- Help screen, interview, and onboard cleaner applicants
- Track customer issues, cleaner feedback, bookings, and follow-ups
- Keep our CRM, Google Sheets, Notion, and internal notes organized
- Help solve daily operational problems as they come up
You’ll do well here if you are
- Strong in spoken and written English
- Comfortable talking with North American customers by phone
- Organized, detail-oriented, and good at follow-through
- Calm when several things are happening at once
- Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, CRM systems, Slack, phone/text platforms, and online calendars
- Good at asking questions when something is unclear
- Interested in growing into a larger operations role over time
Requirements
- 2+ years of customer service, virtual assistant, admin, or sales support experience
- Phone support or sales experience preferred
- Remote work experience preferred
- Home services, cleaning, field service, or appointment scheduling experience is a plus
- Must be available during Pacific Time hours
- Must be available Saturday and Sunday; two weekdays off will be provided instead
Pay and growth
- Starting pay: $5–$8/hr USD, depending on experience
- Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit/ transfer
- Performance bonuses available for sales, reliability, and operational results
