Remote Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeping Assistant
General Contracting Group is looking for a reliable remote administrative assistant to help with office paperwork, payroll support, bookkeeping support, invoices, scheduling, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
This is a remote position for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a U.S.-based construction company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with payroll-related tracking and employee paperwork
- Help organize invoices, receipts, vendor bills, and payment records
- Support basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Track expenses, payments, and job-related documents
- Help manage emails, follow-ups, scheduling, and reminders
- Organize digital files, contracts, forms, and company records
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, employees, and clients when needed
- Support the owner with general assistant tasks
Required experience
- Admin
- Experience with invoices, payments, receipts, or bookkeeping support
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Strong English communication skills
- High attention
- Reliable internet and ability to work remotely
- Comfortable working independently

- Payroll support experience
- Construction company experience
- Accounts payable / accounts receivable experience
- Job costing or project-cost tracking experience
- Experience working with U.S. companies
