Remote Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeping Assistant

General Contracting Group is looking for a reliable remote administrative assistant to help with office paperwork, payroll support, bookkeeping support, invoices, scheduling, and day-to-day administrative tasks.

This is a remote position for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a U.S.-based construction company.

Responsibilities

Assist with payroll-related tracking and employee paperwork
Help organize invoices, receipts, vendor bills, and payment records
Support basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks
Track expenses, payments, and job-related documents
Help manage emails, follow-ups, scheduling, and reminders
Organize digital files, contracts, forms, and company records
Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, employees, and clients when needed
Support the owner with general assistant tasks

Required experience

Admin
Experience with invoices, payments, receipts, or bookkeeping support
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
Strong English communication skills
High attention
Reliable internet and ability to work remotely
Comfortable working independently

Preferred experience

Payroll support experience
Construction company experience
Accounts payable / accounts receivable experience
Job costing or project-cost tracking experience
Experience working with U.S. companies
