This position serves as the primary gateway for talent entering a high-growth door-to-door (D2D) sales organization. The Remote Interviewer is responsible for executing high-energy, high-volume group screenings to identify and retain top-tier sales candidates. Rather than traditional administrative recruiting, this role requires a professional with a sales-centric mindset, someone capable of maintaining candidate momentum and ensuring a seamless transition from the initial screening to the secondary interview phase.
The effectiveness of this role is measured by the Candidate Retention Rate: specifically, the percentage of candidates who successfully move from the initial group screening into the second-round interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Group Screenings: Lead Zoom-based group interviews for 3 to 5 candidates per session, adhering to a structured, persuasive script.
- High-Volume Performance: Conduct multiple sessions daily, maintaining a consistent and high level of professional energy to ensure candidate engagement.
- Candidate Presentation: Represent the organization and its D2D sales roles in a compelling, persuasive manner to attract high-quality talent.
- Accurate Record-Keeping: Utilize Applicant Stream to maintain detailed candidate notes and ensure data integrity across the recruitment funnel.
- Strategic Coordination: Manage the hand-off process for candidates moving toward in-office second interviews, coordinating closely with the US-based hiring team.
- Process Improvement: Provide actionable feedback to leadership regarding candidate quality and interview script effectiveness to optimize the hiring lifecycle.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Exceptional English Communication: Mastery of verbal English is required to build rapport and convey complex role details effectively.
- Persuasive Presence: Proven ability to command a virtual room and influence candidate decisions through professional charisma and clarity.
- Remote Proficiency: Minimum of 2 years of experience managing professional workflows via Zoom or similar video conferencing platforms.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a back-to-back interview schedule without compromising quality.
- High Emotional Intelligence: Ability to read candidate cues and adapt the pitch to various personality types.
Preferred Background
- Previous experience in Door-to-Door (D2D) sales or marketing-heavy environments.
- Experience facilitating group dynamics or public speaking.
- Familiarity with the Applicant Stream platform.
- Prior experience or high proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
