We're looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to support our summer season at Programming Journeys, a STEM education startup offering coding, robotics, and AI programs for K–12 students. You'll play a key role in bringing our brand to life across digital and print channels during one of our most exciting seasons yet.
Position Details:
- Location: Remote
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day + 1 hour lunch
- Duration: Seasonal – through end of July 2026
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Campaigns
- Design assets for paid ad campaigns on Meta and Google (static images, banners, thumbnails)
- Create promotional flyers for platforms like Peachjar and school distribution
- Support seasonal campaign launches with cohesive visual concepts
Social Media
- Design graphics and story templates for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Resize and adapt content across formats (Feed, Stories, Reels, covers)
- Maintain visual consistency across all platforms
Brand & Print
- Develop on-brand materials including brochures, posters, and event signage
- Design internal documents such as schedules, handbooks, and project manuals
- Ensure all work aligns with Programming Journeys brand guidelines (colors, fonts, tone)
Collaboration
- Work closely with the operations and content team
- Receive and incorporate feedback efficiently
- Deliver files in correct formats for both digital and print use
Requirements:
- Graphic design experience (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or Canva Pro
- Experience designing for social media and digital marketing campaigns
- Understanding of basic print production (bleeds, resolution, file formats)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Bonus: experience in education, youth programs, or STEM-related brands
