Our platform and amenity services are available nationwide, with active programming in eight major markets. In Jersey City, we go a step further—managing in-house dog walking and pet care services exclusively for residents under the Bark Buildings umbrella.
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations & Administrative Support team member to help keep day-to-day workflows running smoothly across Bark Buildings. 20 hrs per week.
This role is best suited for someone who operates like a high-level virtual assistant—comfortable jumping between tools, managing multiple small tasks at once, and keeping everything organized behind the scenes.
This is a backend, execution-focused role with a heavy emphasis on administrative and operational support. While there is some light resident communication, the majority of the work is internal—supporting systems, processes, and team coordination.
Fluent English (written and verbal) is required, along with prior experience in a similar administrative-heavy role.
The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable learning new systems quickly. You should be confident working independently, following instructions closely, documenting processes, and asking questions when something isn’t clear.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administrative Support
- Maintain and update data across systems (primarily HubSpot)
- Track communications and ensure records are accurate and up to date
- Assist with general administrative tasks across the team
Programming Support (Events + Resident Programs)
- Assist with event and program logistics (flyer creation, supply ordering, scheduling)
- Create and edit simple marketing materials in Canva
- Support coordination of Pet of the Month program and related touchpoints
- Assist with light resident communication (primarily email-based, as needed)
Scheduling Support
- Assist with scheduling coordination for dog walking services
- Help manage updates and changes across scheduling platforms
Internal Coordination
- Communicate regularly with team members via Slack and email
- Participate in weekly (or more) internal calls to align on priorities and updates
Tools We Use
Experience with these is a strong plus, but not required. Comfort learning new tools quickly is essential.

What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or virtual assistant role
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable managing multiple small tasks across different areas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent English required)
- Able to follow instructions closely and document processes clearly
- Proactive and not afraid to ask questions when unsure
- Comfortable using (or learning) multiple software tools quickly
Role Details
- Part-time: 20 hours per week
- Compensation: $610USD - $630USD Per Month
- Remote (candidates based in Mexico or South America preferred)
- Schedule: Flexible within 9 AM – 6 PM EST
