Description
Maverick Dental Lab is seeking an experienced sales leader to own and scale our revenue organization across enterprise growth, client retention, and expansion. This role is responsible for aligning sales execution with overall revenue objectives and delivering measurable results, including new enterprise growth and increased share of wallet across existing customers.
The Vice President of Sales will lead and optimize Maverick’s existing Sales and Client Success teams, providing structure, accountability, and performance management across new business acquisition, onboarding, retention, and expansion. This leader will be responsible for developing talent, improving execution, and ensuring alignment across teams.
In addition, the Vice President of Sales will manage and expand relationships with key decision-makers across DSOs, GPOs, and organized dentistry, serving as a senior commercial leader for Maverick’s enterprise partnerships. This role is designed for a seasoned dental industry leader who understands how to scale revenue in a relationship-driven, service-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Leadership
- Own sales performance across new business acquisition, retention, and expansion, ensuring alignment with annual and long-term growth objectives
- Establish and execute sales strategies that drive predictable pipeline growth, accurate forecasting, and consistent performance
- Maintain accountability for sales outcomes, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy
Enterprise & Strategic Relationships
- Develop, manage, and expand relationships with DSOs, GPOs, and corporate dental partners, serving as Maverick’s senior sales leader for enterprise accounts
- Leverage an existing dental industry network to introduce new enterprise opportunities into Maverick’s pipeline
- Act as a trusted executive partner to key decision-makers within organized dentistry
Sales & Client Success Leadership
- Lead, develop, and inspire the Sales and Client Success teams to achieve and exceed performance targets
- Implement clear operating rhythms, including pipeline reviews, forecasting discipline, CRM standards, and performance accountability
- Design and implement sales improvement strategies, including coaching, training, and process optimization
Client Retention & Expansion
- Own client retention strategy in partnership with Client Success, ensuring strong customer satisfaction, reduced churn, and long-term partnerships
- Lead initiatives designed to drive growth within Maverick’s existing customer base through expansion, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities
- Ensure a seamless handoff and alignment between sales, onboarding, and ongoing client success
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with Marketing to translate enterprise and customer needs into actionable go-to-market priorities
- Collaborate with Operations, Production, and Leadership to ensure sales commitments align with service delivery and quality standards
- Serve as the internal voice of the customer, bringing market and customer insights into strategic discussions
Forecasting & Reporting
- Ensure disciplined pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting
- Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities
- Implement metrics and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
Requirements
- Required: Significant experience within the dental industry, including dental laboratories, DSOs, GPOs, or organized dentistry
- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership or commercial roles within dental or related healthcare services
- Proven track record of scaling sales teams, managing enterprise relationships, and delivering measurable growth
- Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing sales and client success teams
- Strong expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, CRM systems, and performance analytics
- Ability to communicate complex value propositions clearly and credibly to executive stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and comfort operating in a structured, accountability-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support enterprise relationships
