Role Description
This part-time remote contract role, the candidate must live in Houston, Texas or surrounding cities. This role involves providing administrative support to the team at Arabella Counseling. The Administrative Assistant will handle a variety of tasks, including scheduling and managing appointments, answering phone calls and emails, verifying insurance, maintaining organized records, and supporting the overall efficiency of office operations. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who excels in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
- 2-5 years previous experience as an administrative, receptionist, or in office support preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and personable demeanor, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and therapists
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe
- Experience with scheduling software, email management, and payment processing is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable using virtual communication tools (Zoom, phone, email)
- Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in a counseling or healthcare setting
$16–$19/hour
