Description
A Graphic Designer for Popular Woodworking and Woodsmith is responsible for layout design, photo direction and some illustration assignments for the bi-monthly magazine. The position requires good time management and communication skills. Familiarity and interest in woodworking and tools a plus.
Requirements
- 60% layout and design work
- 25% photo direction and prop production and/or procurement
- 15% illustration work
- Sketch-Up experience is preferred
Professional Qualifications
- BA Design degree required
- Minimum 5 years experience required
- Fluent in Adobe Design Suite software
- Position is Work-from-home (Option to work in the office, depending on location)
- Experience with woodworking preferred
