Financial Analyst (Contract)

Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial insights and analytics for a leading technology organization's Consumer Sales division. Working at the intersection of finance and data analytics, you will play a critical role in building sophisticated analytics solutions that inform strategic decisions across multiple product lines. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can transform complex datasets into actionable insights through compelling visualizations and standardized reporting frameworks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product groups, marketing, and go-to-market teams to deliver financial guidance that shapes business outcomes. The position demands strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent communication skills to effectively translate data into meaningful business intelligence.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble and maintain spreadsheets while creating charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports and financial analyses
- Source, clean, and standardize base data from multiple third-party sources to ensure consistency across critical specifications
- Build and maintain analytics databases by ingesting data from various sources and coordinating datasets across finance teams
- Manually map and scrape data from web sources and brand platforms to support SKU analysis and volume tracking
- Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for investment and strategic decisions
- Create and deliver Power BI dashboards that provide standardized views and global market insights
- Interpret data affecting investment programs including price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks
- Review data quality and identify inconsistencies, working with cross-functional teams to clean up and align datasets
- Drive overall database cleanup initiatives to enable report automation and improve data integrity
- Map silicon family and generation data using processor details and external web sources
- Coordinate with multiple finance teams to create standardized reporting views and analytics frameworks
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting
- Demonstrated hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards
- Proven experience working with large datasets and analytics solutions
- Background combining financial analysis with data analytics capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related financial discipline required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis
- Expert-level experience building dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI
- Strong ability to work with large datasets and understand database structures
- Verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and critical thinking
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Capability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and reporting of financial data
- Understanding of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations as related to accounting
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Pay Range*: $35 - $39.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
