Position Summary:
The Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role in the development and execution of packaging and brand assets across multiple product lines. This position is primarily responsible for the design of consumer-faced packaging goods, while also supporting broader marketing initiatives and brand development efforts.
This role requires a strong balance of creative thinking and technical execution, with an emphasis on scalable design systems, production accuracy, and brand consistency across multiple channels.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Packaging Design (Primary Responsibility)
- Design and develop cartons, labels, and related packaging components across multiple brands and product categories
- Create scalable design systems to support expanding SKU portfolios
- Prepare accurate, press-ready production files in collaboration with print vendors and internal teams
- Work within established deadlines and structural constraints while maintaining visual impact
- Manage versioning, regulatory copy updates, and technical specifications
- Ensure packaging aligns with commercialization timelines and product launch schedules
Brand Development & Stewardship
- Support the evolution and expansion of brand and sub-brand visual systems
- Maintain brand consistency across packaging, marketing, and digital channels
- Contribute to typography, color, and layout standards
- Translate strategic business objectives into clear, compelling visual communication
Marketing & Sales Support
- Develop supporting marketing materials for print, digital, retail, and sales initiatives
- Create product launch assets and promotional graphics
- Assist with trade show materials and retail merchandising graphics
- Ensure seamless brand execution from physical packaging to digital platforms
Product Visualization & Digital Support (Preferred Skills)
- Develop 3D mockups and product renderings for concept development and marketing use
- Produce digital product visuals for e-commerce and online platforms
Support website updates (WordPress) and optimize graphics for digital shelf presentation
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 5+ years of professional design experience, with a strong emphasis on packaging
- Demonstrated experience designing cartons and labels (portfolio required)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong understanding of print production, prepress processes, and file preparation
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
- Experience with 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with WordPress and e-commerce platforms
- Experience working with retail product packaging and SKU-intensive product lines
