SENAI is seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead and scale our sales organization, driving revenue growth and long-term strategic objectives, with a strong focus on State and Federal Government customers.
The ideal candidate is a senior sales leader with a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams, owning go-to-market strategy, and closing complex, high-value deals in government and public sector environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and support the company’s long-term growth objectives, with a focus on State and Federal Government customers.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales organization, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
- Own the end-to-end sales function, including pipeline strategy, forecasting, pricing, and deal governance.
- Lead complex enterprise and government sales cycles, including strategic negotiations, RFPs/RFIs, and long-term contracts.
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key State and Federal Government agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Executive leadership to align go-to-market strategy, messaging, and roadmap with market and customer needs.
- Drive data-informed decision-making through accurate forecasting, KPI tracking, and performance analysis.
- Continuously assess market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management within a similar industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
