The Administrative Coordinator Sr. provides administrative support, communicates with candidates, arranges & conducts job interviews and documents, updates candidate information, works with hiring managers, assists new employees in onboarding, and ensures hiring procedures comply with company policies and legal requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use email and job posting strategies to find job seekers who are looking for needed positions at your company
- Reviewing resumes and job applications to determine which people should receive interviews
- Conducting interviews and creating a short list of final candidates
- Work with hiring team to thoroughly understand that departments needs
- Helping new hires through your company’s onboarding process
- Ensure data integrity and update candidate records in applicant tracking system as needed
- Own interviewing scheduling process and communicate logistics to both candidates and hiring teams
- Initiate and participate in ad hoc process improvement initiatives and other projects
- Offering ways to improve the recruitment process and implementing those changes
- Monitoring the success rate of all your company’s recruiting campaigns
- Assist Human Resources department as required
- Assist Program Manager with special projects when requested
- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Minimum of one year experience in a secretarial, administrative assistant, or office management or recruiting position required.
- Basic computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets and databases required.
- Previous experience with Station Services in Antarctica may be accepted in lieu of minimum experience.
