Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Bilingual Japanese-English Office Work Assistant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and dealing with Japanese suppliers in a bilingual environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization across all administrative records.
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record management.
- Provide customer support by responding promptly to emails and phone calls in both Japanese and English, ensuring excellent phone etiquette.
Requirements
- Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive), and familiarity with data entry software.
- Experience using multi-line phone systems and managing front desk operations remotely or in-office is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for bookkeeping or basic accounting functions is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
