Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager of B2B Marketing & Digital Strategy to lead Beautytap’s marketing function end-to-end. This is a strategic, highly visible role responsible for increasing awareness, driving demand, and positioning Beautytap as the trusted partner for ratings, reviews, UGC, Reddit amplification, and syndication services.
This person will own our digital footprint, lead generation engine, SEO program, events calendar, social/brand messaging, and relationship-building initiatives with VP/Director-level decision makers at beauty and wellness brands.
You will work closely with the Founder/CEO, Sales team, and Operations to architect a modern B2B marketing engine that helps us grow pipeline, accelerate sales cycles, and win more new logos.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy & Acquisition
- Build and execute a comprehensive B2B digital marketing strategy across paid, organic, social, and inbound channels.
- Own SEO strategy to improve Google rankings for terms related to beauty reviews, UGC, ratings & reviews, review syndication, Reddit marketing, TikTok Shop, etc.
- Build landing pages, funnels, and conversion paths optimized for brand marketing teams and retail teams.
- Develop, monitor, and optimize paid B2B campaigns (LinkedIn, Meta, Google, industry newsletters, and beauty trade publications).
- Launch targeted ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns for high-value brand prospects.
- Track and report on CAC, pipeline influence, ROAS, and marketing-sourced opportunities.
2. B2B Relationship Marketing & Decision Maker Access
- Build a repeatable program to reach and nurture Director/VP/C-level decision makers at brands across skincare, haircare, makeup, wellness, and fragrance.
- Develop executive-level relationship-building strategies, including warm-intro networks, industry partnerships, trade associations, and agency alliances.
- Own and execute decision maker dinners, intimate salon-style events, meetups, and brand-only roundtables to position Beautytap as a thought leader.
- Coordinate invites, RSVPs, venue selection, follow-ups, and content capture.
3. Social Media, Brand Positioning & Content
- Lead the direction of Beautytap’s LinkedIn, Instagram, and industry-facing social channels, focusing on B2B storytelling and credibility.
- Own brand messaging pillars and ensure consistency across website, decks, sales collateral, social, emails, and PR.
- Develop case studies, success stories, founder videos, and other high-authority content showcasing Beautytap’s credibility with L’Oréal, Sephora, and major retailers.
- Manage and optimize our email marketing, newsletters, and nurture sequences for prospects.
4. Events, Partnerships & Industry Visibility
- Build an annual event/PR calendar including Cosmoprof, CEW, BeautyCon, Glossy, WWD BeautySummit, IECSC, and more.
- Create partnership strategies with agencies, incubators, accelerators, and retailers.
- Set up thought-leadership webinars, live Q&As, white papers, and trend reports.
5. Marketing Operations & Analytics
- Set quarterly goals for awareness, inbound leads, SQL generation, and brand engagement.
- Own HubSpot marketing automation setup, lead scoring, segmentation, and dashboards.
- Work closely with Sales on an integrated funnel: SDR alignment, retargeting, personalization, and follow-ups.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-efficient growth.
Qualifications
- 6–10+ years experience in B2B marketing, ideally within:
- Beauty or wellness
- Retail technology
- SaaS / marketplace
- Consumer brands selling to brand marketing teams
- Strong experience in SEO, digital acquisition, content strategy, and paid ads.
- Comfortable leading events, dinners, and relationship marketing with senior-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience growing marketing pipelines and working closely with Sales.
- Exceptional writing, brand storytelling, and deck-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a startup/scale-up environment.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple initiatives at once.
- Bonus:
- Experience marketing to beauty brand founders, CMOs, VP of Marketing, D2C teams, and retail teams.
- Agency experience (PR, content, digital, or B2B).
