DG Creative Media is a boutique digital marketing agency based in New York City, specializing in helping businesses build their online presence through engaging organic content, targeted ad campaigns, and tailored social media strategies.
The team enhances brand awareness by creating press releases, fostering strategic partnerships, and leveraging digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, email campaigns, and graphic design. DG Creative Media also offers print and digital advertising services, including content placement in magazines, newspapers, and online publications. Our goal is to deliver bespoke solutions that expand awareness, drive traffic, and refine each client’s unique brand narrative.
Role Description
This is a full-time, paid internship role for a Social Media Marketing and Design Intern. The position is remote, though candidates based in or near New York City are preferred. We would love this internship to turn into a full-time position. In this role, you’ll assist in planning, creating, and managing social media content across multiple platforms. You’ll collaborate with the team to support digital marketing strategies, contribute to creative concepts, and gain hands-on experience working with real clients.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of social media marketing plans and content calendars
- Creating and curating social media posts, Reels, and videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Assisting in designing graphics using Canva or other design tools
- Conducting trend and competitor research to inform strategy
- Helping with paid social campaigns (especially Meta Ads) and analyzing performance metrics
- Engaging with audiences and assisting with community management
- Collaborating with the team on branding and PR-related initiatives

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends
- Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Canva and basic video editing tools
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of visual design and brand alignment
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
- Interest in marketing, branding, and content creation
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or influencer marketing
- Pursuing or recently completed coursework in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
