Steel River Systems is seeking VEOCC Program Management Administrative Assistants (PMAAs) to join our team supporting the Veterans Experience Office Contact Center (VEOCC). This is a full-time, mission-driven position in a high-performance federal contracting environment dedicated to serving Veterans and their families.
Position Summary
The Program Management Administrative Assistant (PMAA) provides vital administrative and operational support to Program Managers and program leadership. The PMAA plays an essential role in ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, managing equipment tracking, coordinating workforce logistics, and maintaining accurate administrative documentation.
This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. The PMAA works closely with management, workforce, and training sections to ensure all program activities align with government standards.
Responsibilities
- Submit and monitor onboarding and offboarding tickets for equipment and system access.
- Track and oversee the issuance of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), headphones, and related assets.
- Collect and verify pre-hire competency certifications and documentation.
- Ensure new hires obtain Personal Identity Verification (PIV) exemptions as required.
- Coordinate nesting partners and training support for new hires.
- Communicate changes in personnel status to Workforce Management and Training teams as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment assignments, tracking status, and administrative logs.
- Support Program Managers with documentation, reporting, and administrative coordination.
- Adhere to all security, privacy, and compliance guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and operational continuity of the VEOCC program.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of IT help desk or administrative experience required.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a federal program or government contracting environment.
- Familiarity with workforce management systems, ticketing tools, or onboarding platforms.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and teams.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting large, operations-heavy programs (contact center experience a plus).
- Meticulous organizer with strong follow-through across multiple trackers and systems.

- Basic tech readiness: able to work on encrypted GFE and navigate ticketing/CRM portals.
