Job Summary
The Assistant to the Executive Director will assist the Executive Director in providing visionary leadership and strategic direction for our organization, ensuring the effective operation of all programs and services.
This role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
The Assistant to the Executive Director will oversee administrative functions, coordinate projects, and support executive-level activities to drive the mission forward.
Duties
Support with:
- Lead the planning and execution of organizational events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and bookkeeping tasks.
- Coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Oversee office management functions, including maintaining an organized workspace and managing supplies.
- Provide executive administrative support, including calendar management and scheduling meetings.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette while handling communications via multi-line phone systems.
- Demonstrate computer literacy through proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and DocuSign.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills by managing data entry, filing systems, and clerical tasks efficiently.
- Assist in proofreading documents and transcription duties as needed.
- Deliver excellent customer service while interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Support front desk operations as required, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors.
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience with a focus on executive support roles.
- Experience in event planning and project coordination is highly desirable.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook Calendar for effective scheduling.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using various software applications including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and DocuSign.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on professional phone etiquette.

Compensation:
25% of Profits procured directly from grants, fundraising, and events.
Performance-based quarterly bonuses.
