Regional Sales Director (Western US / Canada)
Our client, a global leader in the design, manufacturing, installation and servicing of cleanroom and decontamination equipment is looking to add an experienced sales professional to their team. This individual will take over an existing territory with a strong client base and tasked with it's continued growth as well as new business development. Reporting into the Executive Director, you will be 1 of 4 Regional Sales Director's covering the US and Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all sales matters within the key accounts and geographic territory
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
- Develop new business with existing clients to meet sales quotas
- Attend tradeshows and company related events
- Attend sales calls, seminars, meetings as needed to support general sales activities and those needed within the defined region
- Travel both domestically and internationally as needed to customer accounts, trade shows, trainings, etc. Expected annual travel will be approximately 50%.
Requirements:
- 4 Year degree (engineering or science preferred)
- Proven extensive sales experience
- Experience with pharma or life science
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Technical background preferred
