Overview
SEBA Professional Services, LLC is currently seeking a qualified administrative assistant for project technical assistance review services for the Department of Health and Human Services. This position supports a small team of engineers and architects in performing technical reviews of grant submissions and ensures that all reports and progress updates are thorough and accurate. This position also assists in maintaining a schedule of trainings, meetings and deadlines, and works with the Project Manager to ensure that all deadlines are met with the highest quality. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, has at least a year of experience with assisting in technical writing, engineering or architecture, and has proven experience with Microsoft Office and Teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist professional engineers and registered architects with reporting requirements
- Assist professional engineers and registered architects with writing, reviewing and editing grant submission reviews
- Maintain a schedule of deadlines, meetings and necessary trainings
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to provide weekly updates on work progress and report any issues that arise
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy and written quality
- Maintain a schedule and database of reviews from initial receipt of the grant submission to finalization of the technical review
- Assist with other clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a full-time administrative assistant
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strong computer literacy and typing skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience in assisting with architecture, engineering, or technical reviews
- Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and written communication skills
- Experience with technical writing is preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
