Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Data Entry Associate to support the operational needs of our practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining patient data, ensuring the smooth flow of information across our systems. This is a vital role that contributes directly to the success of our administrative operations and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter patient data, medical records, and other relevant information into our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data entries, verifying information when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy.
- Review and update patient information as needed, ensuring all records are current and up-to-date.
- Assist in generating reports and summaries as required by the team or management.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline data processes and ensure efficient workflow.
- Respond to requests for information or data, maintaining a professional and timely manner.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
