GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Financial Analyst performs a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, performing research and analysis, and preparing financial reports. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with monthly closing processes and internal controls.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop financial models for various business scenarios and projects
- Track operational KPIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements
- Analyze actual versus forecast results and deep dive variances
- Develop financial forecasting tools to help streamline the forecasting process
- Assist with quarterly and annual forecasting for all facilities
- Performing ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by the business
- Identify areas of improvement and cost reductions at the facility level
- Enforce financial controls across the facilities
- Understand key business drivers
- Assist project teams with financial guidance
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions
- Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
