The Interface Support individual acts as the primary customer contact for HL7 and other electronic data interfaces to clients’ systems. In this role, you will work with a variety of levels of leadership from our partner facilities and third-party vendors to manage the interface development. You will have the opportunity to work independently, to learn new technology, to make connections with our customers and vendors, and to impact the advancement and success of our interoperability projects.
General Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers and vendor partners to test, implement and support HL7 and other electronic interfaces using TruBridge’s proprietary Interface Management System
- Troubleshoot issues/identify needed changes and make modifications to interface messages for new requirements
- Create documentation and diagrams, as necessary, to facilitate effective education, implementation and post-implementation support of interfaces
- Collaborate with Developers and Engineers on interface-related tasks to continually improve integration methods and/or custom functionality to meet customer needs
- Occasional (10% or less) travel required
Minimum Requirements
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution
- Must be able to act both independently and as a team member
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience working with computer programming concepts
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving, collaborative environment
- Ability to work after hours or weekends if needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent, preferred
- 0 to 2 years of HL7 interface experience
- Knowledge of healthcare-based applications, preferred
- Experience working with computer programming concepts
- Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving, collaborative environment
