Position: Tier 1 Service Desk Technician
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled
Tier 1 Service Desk Technician to join their team! This fully remote opportunity is perfect for an entry-level candidate passionate about IT. The role focuses on providing exceptional service desk support to ensure smooth operations, addressing technical issues, and escalating when necessary. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role, with a flexible remote schedule and exciting opportunities to grow and develop IT skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 technical support, assisting users with IT issues, including printers, network connectivity, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems following established documentation.
- Collaborate with the support center team to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of support activities and resolutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Basic IT experience, such as certifications, internships, or previous related jobs.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work Saturday – Wednesday, 3 AM MST – 12 PM MST (5 AM EST – 2 PM EST).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CompTIA+ certification or equivalent foundational IT knowledge.
- Previous experience in a service desk or help desk role.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting POS systems and network issues.
