As part of the Systems Engineering team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system. You will learn about the various system engineering subject areas with the opportunity to work in all Engineering fields to include system, definition, allocation, maintenance, validation, system integration, and test.
As a System Engineer on the CPS program you will be involved in all Systems Engineering phases (development, production, and sustainment) to facilitate and manage requirements definition, allocation/derivation, maintenance, and verification/validation.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support the authoring, peer review, and baseline of system, element, subsystem, and components requirements (including interfaces, natural environments, and induced environments) and document & manage accordingly in IBM DOORS
Support the Requirements Change Notice (RCN) process in IBM DOORS, including coordination and presentation through Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB)
Work collaboratively with cross-functional, subcontractor, and Government/Partner teams
Support development and facilitation of verification planning and execution for requirements through analyses, demonstrations, inspections, and tests
Work with System Modeling team members to link requirements to Cameo model artifacts for architecture tracing and test case planning
Support major program reviews including Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), delta System Requirements Review (dSRR), delta Design Reviews (dPDR, dCDR) and Flight Test Readiness Reviews (DTRR, XRR, MRR)
Some travel may be required to support major milestones and reviews
