Position OverviewWe are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy for Sauz. This key leadership role will drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and retail growth. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing professional with proven experience in the food and beverage CPG industry, particularly with brands achieving $30M+ in annual revenue. While Los Angeles, CA is the preferred location, we’re most focused on finding the right fit to guide our marketing vision.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a data-driven marketing strategy that supports growth across retail, e-commerce, and digital platforms.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify, engage, and manage partnerships with influencers to amplify brand reach and foster authentic engagement.
- Social Media Management: Oversee and grow our organic social media presence, creating content that aligns with brand voice and captivates our audience.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Build strategic partnerships with complementary brands, creators, and organizations to expand Sauz’s reach.
- Retail Marketing Optimization: Collaborate with retail teams to ensure seamless in-store marketing execution and alignment with brand goals.
- Market Insights & Analysis: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to refine marketing strategies and improve campaign performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistency and cohesion across all marketing initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using insights to continuously improve results.
Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience in the CPG industry, with a strong focus on food and beverage brands.
- Proven success in driving marketing efforts for companies with $30M+ in annual revenue.
- Expertise in influencer marketing, organic social media, partnerships, and brand collaborations.
- Experience in retail-focused marketing and familiarity with retail execution strategies.
- Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ideally with startup experience.
