We are looking for a proactive, resilient, detail-oriented BDR who knows how to create momentum, consistently follow up, and keep opportunities moving forward. The ideal candidate is a “nice bulldog” — professional, personable, persistent, organized, and highly dependable. You should be comfortable operating in a startup environment where speed, accountability, communication, and follow-through matter deeply.
You will be responsible for:
- Engaging inbound and outbound leads
- Qualifying opportunities
- Booking demos
- Managing follow-up sequences
- Maintaining CRM accuracy
- Reducing no-shows and ensuring prospects never feel forgotten
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, SMS, and other channels
- Respond quickly and professionally to inbound leads
- Qualify prospective customers and identify fit
- Schedule and confirm demos for Account Executives / leadership
- Aggressively and professionally follow up with prospects who go dark
- Reduce demo no-shows through proactive reminder and confirmation processes
- Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records at all times
- Log all activities, notes, communications, and next steps in the CRM
- Manage pipeline stages and ensure opportunities are updated properly
- Coordinate internally with sales, onboarding, and leadership teams
- Take ownership of assigned leads and opportunities
- Consistently execute follow-up tasks without requiring micromanagement
- Meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation goals

Preferred Experience
- Prior BDR, SDR, inside sales, or appointment-setting experience
- Experience working in SaaS, startups, or high-growth environments
- CRM experience (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Experience with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
- Familiarity with sales pipelines and sales process management
- Pet industry experience is a plus, but not required
