About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Bookkeeper based in Mexico to join our team. You will play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly by managing accounts payable, processing vendor invoices, and ensuring accuracy across our billing systems. Duties
- Process and verify vendor invoices against purchase orders
- Consolidate and maintain Accounts Receivable (A/R) reports
- Identify and reconcile invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
- Schedule and coordinate vendor payments
- Maintain and nurture relationships with vendors
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding account balances, statements, credits, and discrepancies
- Respond promptly to vendor inquiries
- Support the broader PADS team as needed
Required
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a related finance role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Tech-savvy — comfortable working with Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Organization skills to manage their own workload independently in a remote setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a U.S.-based team
- Reliable internet connection
- Experience working with Google Workspace
Preferable skills
- Prior experience working with a U.S.-based company
- Familiarity with U.S. accounting practices
