JOB TITLE: Event Marketing Associate Manager
LOCATION: United States (must sit in easter or central time zone)
COMPENSATION: $65k- $75k max + benefits

About the Role
The Vendor Marketing Associate Manager will work with channel owners across Events, Digital, Web, Social and CRM to ensure agreements with vendor partners are brought to life; on time, to brief and on message. Will execute on the communications of vendor programs to membership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the vendor marketing calendar, ensuring contractual commitments with vendors are accounted for
- Collect and review marketing deliverables from vendors for all agreed activity as captured on the vendor marketing calendar
- Ensure accurate and timely receipt of marketing deliverables, working to channel lead times as defined by marketing channel owners and the events team
- Track and report on vendor marketing performance, relaying confirmation of activity sharing key performance metrics in a structured, professional report
- Create proof of performance presentations as part of payment approvals process
- Work closely with the Strategic Partnerships Team, acting as the conduit and bridge into Marketing
- Attend internal and external marketing and vendor meetings
- Liaise directly with vendor partners on all vendor related approvals – including IDOC branded activity that references or includes mention of vendor partners – PR, newsletters, printed materials
- Support the Director of Member Engagement and the wider Marketing team to create marketing packages that are compelling for vendors, while adhering to marketing strategy on relevancy and frequency for member communications
- Support the Strategic Partnerships Team in the presentation of amendments to future vendor opportunities to inform future contractual agreements
- Ensure the vendor program marketing calendar is effectively communicated with the Director of Member Engagement and the Head of Marketing Planning so that vendor program marketing commitments can be integrated into the broader program of communication priorities
- Communicate with and brief into marketing channel leads across Digital, Web, CRM, Events and additional member communication to ensure vendor programs are integrated into channel activity on time, on brand and on message
- Where vendor involvement and marketing has been agreed, work with the Director of Member Engagement and Events team to collect event-related vendor deliverables
- Work alongside the Events Team and the Strategic Partnership Team on organizing booth space allocations to vendors as required
- Serve as the primary contact for vendor partners at hosted events
- Update and manage Member Portal vendor profiles with programs and resources
- Create and manage vendor marketing calendars in tools such as Asana and MS Teams
- Organize and update vendor marketing MS Teams folders, ensuring there is an accurate log of agreed activity and history of approved content
Requirements
- 4+ years’ of marketing experience
- Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Self-starter, can work independently and make informed recommendations
- Strong communicator – written and oral
- Resilient
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
- Technologically proficient and able to adapt and learn new tools and digital platforms
- Sound understanding of marketing principles and high-level executional understanding of fundamental marketing channels
