Title: Director of Digital Marketing
Overview
Our client is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to lead and execute a comprehensive digital strategy across a multi-brand portfolio within the hospitality space. This individual will serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator, driving performance across all digital channels while building scalable systems to support continued growth.
This is a high-impact, visible leadership role that requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational execution, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Own and drive the overall digital marketing vision and long-term roadmap
- Develop scalable frameworks that can be tailored across multiple brands
- Serve as the subject-matter expert across all digital marketing channels
- Partner with executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives
Channel Management
- SEO: Lead organic search strategy including technical SEO, content development, local SEO, and backlink strategy
- Paid Media: Oversee paid search and paid social efforts (Google Ads, Meta, etc.), including budget management, ROAS optimization, and attribution modeling
- Email Marketing: Build and optimize lifecycle, promotional, and transactional campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention
- Social Media: Manage both organic and paid social strategies to enhance brand awareness and demand generation
Portfolio Oversight
- Act as a senior marketing advisor across a large portfolio of brands/locations
- Translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies and KPIs
- Deliver performance insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
- Ensure consistency, quality, and measurable performance across all accounts
Team Development & Operations
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing internal team and/or external agency partners
- Establish best practices, standard operating procedures, and reporting frameworks
- Identify and implement tools, platforms, and automation to improve scalability and efficiency
Analytics & Performance
- Define success metrics and KPIs across all digital channels
- Own reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and performance reviews
Qualifications
Required
- 8+ years of digital marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong expertise in performance marketing, analytics, and attribution
- Experience managing multiple brands, locations, or business units simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through digital channels
