Our construction and engineering client is seeking a proactive Social Media Coordinator to grow their brand presence across social platforms by creating, publishing, and optimizing engaging content. This role will support their current social media and marketing team on project needs.
This is a fully remote role, working 15-20 hours/week depending on the project needs for approx. 6-8 weeks.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for platform-specific social posting (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) aligned with marketing campaigns and business goals.
- Create on-brand visual assets and graphics for social media using Canva, Adobe InDesign, or similar tools; adapt designs to platform specifications.
- Produce short-form video vignettes and basic animated content using tools such as Animoto or native platform editors to increase engagement.
- Manage community interactions by responding to comments and messages, escalating issues when necessary, and fostering positive audience relationships.
- Monitor social performance metrics, generate weekly/monthly reports, and recommend data-driven optimizations to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to align social content with broader campaigns and assets, and to repurpose existing materials (e.g., PowerPoint slides) for social use.
- Conduct basic competitive and platform trend research to propose new content ideas, formats, and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) managing social media accounts and executing social posting strategies for brands or agencies.
- Strong skills in social media platforms and native publishing (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, etc.).
- Demonstrated graphics production abilitycreating social visuals and templates using Canva and/or Adobe tools.
- Basic video production/editing skills for short-form content and vignettes; familiarity with Animoto or similar tools a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to brand voice, tone, and visual consistency.
- Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Design or equivalent experience preferred.
