Our financial client is looking for an Event Marketing Specialist / Event Planner to assist their team! This is a fully remote freelance position, 40 hours per week, starting mid-April and running through August.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
-Overall event project management including project intake, developing timelines, sourcing venues, and arranging event services such as AV, transportation, and catering
-Acting as the content team liaison by requesting and managing the production of event-related materials, including invitations, advertisements, and presentations
Manage event registration technology and tracking RSVPs.
-Tracking event budget
-Communicating onsite operational expectations and responsibilities to onsite stakeholders
-Intake of any special project requests from local offices and work with the Marketing Director to assess whether they fit the regional strategy.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Ability to direct operations for events in multiple markets from a remote position.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning.
-Proficiency with event registration technologies (Cvent, Swoogo, or similar).
-Proficiency with Salesforce or another CRM system.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
