Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
Location: Sandy, UT / Hybrid / Remote
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: Director of FP&A
About The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to lead FP&A systems implementation, manage
commission programs, and partner closely with Sales and Marketing to drive performance and forecasting accuracy. This role blends technical FP&A execution, commercial finance partnership, and project leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead selection, implementation, configuration and optimization of FP&A software (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, modeling).
- Design, build and maintain financial models, driver-based forecasts, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Own commission plan administration: translate plans into system rules, validate calculations, reconcile payouts, and collaborate with payroll/HR.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to provide forecasting, scenario analysis, campaign ROI, territory/quota modeling, and ad-hoc commercial analyses.
- Build and automate recurring financial processes (monthly close reporting, variance analysis, rolling forecasts).
- Ensure data integrity: define data flows, mapping from CRM/ERP/HR/payroll systems, and implement controls and reconciliations.
- Manage cross-functional projects (timelines, stakeholders, testing, training, change management).
What You Bring
- 5+ years FP&A or corporate finance experience, including hands-on work with FP&A software implementations (Anaplan, Adaptive, Vena, Workday Planning, or similar).
- Strong partnership experience with Sales and Marketing finance needs.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into system configuration and automated processes.
- Excellent communication skills — able to present insights to both technical and executive audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; or advanced degree a plus.
Nice To Have
- Proven experience managing commission plans and incentive calculations.
- Experience integrating CRM (HubSpot) and ERP (QuickBooks, NetSuite, others) systems into FP&A processes.
- Prior experience leading change management and user training during system rollouts.
