About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Marketing Coordinator to support our team on a contract basis. This individual will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing initiatives across multiple channels and industries. The ideal candidate is both strategic and detail-oriented, with marketing project capabilities and a deep understanding of marketing as a whole. This role will also directly support the executive team, acting as a trusted right-hand to help drive high-level marketing initiatives and organizational efficiency.
This is a flexible, remote-only role ideal for a self-starter who can manage deliverables independently while collaborating closely with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and execute comprehensive marketing plans tailored to diverse business needs and industries
- Coordinate and manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
- Oversee multiple teams, ensuring content is delivered on time with brand goals and maximizes engagement, reach, and conversions
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align marketing efforts with business objectives
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
- Organize content review calendars with key players
- Ensure projects are moving consistently and posting across all platforms
- Utilize and maintain project management tools to track progress, deadlines, and deliverables
- Maintain professional relationships with clients through consistent communication and hands-on support
Executive & Marketing Director Support Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic assistant to the Marketing Director, helping manage priorities, timelines, and key initiatives
- Prepare reports, presentations, and executive summaries for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns
- Coordinate cross-functional communication between departments on behalf of the Marketing Director
- Track KPIs, campaign performance, and provide actionable insights to support executive decision-making
- Help manage scheduling, meeting agendas, and follow-ups to ensure alignment and accountability
- Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems to improve operational efficiency within the marketing department
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing coordination, campaign management, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and multi-channel strategy
- Proficiency in social media platforms and their tools (analytics, scheduling, advertising, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to adapt marketing strategies across different industries and business models
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with project management tools (e.g, Monday.com, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
- This is a contract-based role, with compensation structured as:
- Hourly ($22 - $25 per hour) or monthly retainer (based on experience)
- Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and aligned with level of experience and responsibilities.
