Company Overview: Our client is a personal injury law firm with a wonderful reputation and over 30 years of experience. They are growing their Richmond, VA team and are looking to add an Administrative Assistant to support their legal team.
This is an onsite position. There’s the ability for 1 day remote or two half days remote after successful completion of 1st 90 days.
Job Summary: As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our personal injury department by delivering top-tier administrative and clerical support to attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism will help maintain our office’s efficiency and excellent client service standards.
Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Previous administrative or office experience (law firm experience a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting Discretion with confidential information and a professional demeanor Nice to Have Skills: Experience with legal or case management software Familiarity with processing medical records and legal documentation Customer service experience within a professional environment Preferred Education and Experience: Some college coursework or related degree preferred Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting highly advantageous Other Requirements: Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Willingness to assist with additional office tasks as needed
Salary Range: $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience
